The SL2000 can be integrated with virtually all access control software and hardware while enjoying the convenience of dedicated inputs for fire and life safety systems. Beyond this, the SL2000 comes standard with browser-based lane configuration software that allows you to use any networked computer, tablet, or smartphone to adjust and fine-tune many of the SL2000’s features and functionalities.
You can equip the SL2000 with our optional LaneAdmin browser-based remote lane monitoring and scheduling software to take even more control of your turnstile entry solution and make changes remotely on the fly. This application provides a virtual desktop of all your installed turnstiles, providing you with a convenient method to view and control the day-to-day operation of your turnstiles including one-time passage, changing turnstile operational modes, and reversing directions of traffic flow all from your web browser.

When integrated with access control, the SL2000 creates an automated entry solution that simultaneously checks credentials and prevents unauthorized entry. With the ability to operate completely hands-free, the SL2000 is the perfect touchless turnstile solution for any entryway. EZ Lane SL2000 STANDARD FEATURES
Hands-free Operation:
Quick and smooth touchless turnstile operation with motorized barriers swinging open and closed completely from their own power. Users simply present a credential and the barriers swing open to allow them through. Once the turnstile detects successful passage, the barriers swing closed to efficiently await the next entrant.
Optical Detection:
Strategically placed optical sensors detect passage with high accuracy which then can be used to gather data on traffic patterns, log attendance numbers, ensure that only the right people gain access, and much more.
Access Control Integration:
The SL2000 can integrate with virtually all access control reading devices and software systems. Optional Ethernet connectivity available.
Browser-based Lane Configuration Software:
Each SL2000 comes standard with a browser-based software that allows you to configure your lanes from any connected computer, smartphone, or tablet. As long as you are connected to the same network as your turnstiles and have access to a web browser, you can configure your turnstiles simply and efficiently. Such configuration changes include adjusting barrier opening speed, changing alarm sounds, customizing detection settings, fine tuning alarm timer settings, and much more. Our browser-based application eliminates the need to physically plug into individual turnstiles to change configurations or update software.
Ethernet Port Connectivity:
For when your turnstiles are not networked, adjustable features can still be configured and customized. By simply downloading our lane control software onto a laptop, you can plug directly into the included Ethernet port on your turnstile and have access to the same controls as our browser-based software.
Internal Reader Device Compartment:
Each SL2000 comes with an internal compartment designed for proximity readers. This allows you to install your reader internally for a sleeker look and a tamper-proof installation. All other reader devices can be mounted externally with integration through a dry contact or networked connection.
Proximity Reader Status Indicator Lights:
Directly on top of the reader device compartment next to the white proximity reader icon you will find two indicator lights; the first is an orange light that directs users to present their card, while the second is a green arrow that directs users to enter once an authorized card has been detected.
Lane Direction Indicator Lights:
Each SL2000 comes with lights (green and red LED) to indicate lane directions. Green lights signify that passage from that direction is allowed while red lights signify no passage in that direction. Indicator lights are located on your right on the front face of the units.
Audible Alerts:
Integral buzzers chime to indicate you of forced passage, unauthorized entry, functional error, or crawling over/under the unit. These audible alerts can be simply customized with our included browser-based configuration software.
High Throughput/Capacity:
Rapid barrier opening times allow for rapid throughput and efficient entry for even the highest traffic installations.
Card Stacking:
Lane remains open while authorizing multiple credentials
Increases throughput during busy periods
Allows simultaneous verifications (good for groups)
Tailgate Detection:
Optical sensors detect piggybacking attempts
Alarms chime when unauthorized entry is detected

EZ Lane SL2000 ADDITIONAL OPTIONS
Lane Mounting Platform:
You can use the Lane Mounting Platform to mount your SL2000 cabinets on a pedestal base to minimize floor drilling and allow for above floor wiring. This option is great for turnstile installations in lobbies where the floor has already been finalized.
Panel Etching:
You can personalize your acrylic barriers and/or side panels with etched artwork, logos, directions, and more. Many customers choose this option to make the barriers more visible to users.
LaneAdmin Remote Lane Control Software:
Take it one step further from our lane configuration software and use our LaneAdmin software to remotely control your turnstile lanes as traffic flows shift. Use the LaneAdmin software on any networked device to change lane directions, allow one time access, adjust turnstile directionality as traffic directions change, and much more. Put administrative control right at the fingertips of your attendants and allow them to make changes on the fly without having to manually plug into each unit.
External Reader Mount (Adjustable):
Since the SL2000 has an extremely slim profile, not all readers can be housed inside of the cabinet. To accommodate larger reader devices, we offer our adjustable external reader mount that comes factory installed on one or both ends of your SL2000. Please reach out to one of our Hayward Turnstiles access control specialists to learn more about this option. You may have to provide us with the manufacturer, model number, and possibly a sample of your reader device of choice.
Custom Lid Colors and Cabinet Finishes:
Custom colors and materials are available on request to further align the SL2000 with the appearance of your building or your company’s branding.
Custom Illumination:
Choose from our static or dynamic illumination options in a multitude of colors. Static illumination offers your choice of solid colors to help direct traffic through the lanes of your SL2000 while dynamic illumination options act as indicator lights with programmable conditions. Both static and dynamic illumination options offer you the ability to have different colors on the entrance side and the exit side of your SL2000 lanes, allowing you to further customize the look and feel of your turnstiles.
