HT348/HT348M Extended Width Full Height ADA Gates

The HT348 and HT348M are our flagship extra-wide full height ADA gates with an extended passage width of 48″. Our HT348 full height gates provide the same floor to ceiling level of security coverage as our full height turnstiles while simultaneously providing an ADA compliant clear opening for disabled entrants. Our HT348 full height gates are available with vertical bars as barriers (HT348) and can even be outfitted with additional mesh infill (HT348M) for advanced reach through protection. The HT348 works great as a standalone access control solution, but it really shines when paired with one of our SecureTurn series full height turnstiles to provide a comprehensive access control solution. All Hayward Turnstiles full height ADA gates are designed for handicap access but are often used as an alternate entrance for when people must enter with pushcarts, deliveries, strollers, tools, and any other object that would not easily fit through a regular full height turnstile.

Applications:

Full height ADA handicap gates provide maximum security and
access control for handicap accessible entry and/or exit. The
SwingGate HT348 and HT348M offer an extended ADA compliant lane width of 48″.

They can easily be configured to different levels of functionality and are
designed to be paired with our full height turnstiles. They can
also be used as stand-alone units and can easily integrate with
existing access control systems.

coated, or galvanized) to match our turnstiles.

Design & Construction:

  • Designed as an ADA compliant solution for perimeter security
  • 48″ extended passage width
  • Fully welded exterior components
  • Built from heavy-gauge materials that meet ASTM standards
  • Choice of standard vertical bars or reach prevention mesh
  • Minimally exposed, tamper proof hardware

Gate Operation:

  • Gate automatically closes with included hydraulic door closer
  • Field reversible electronic strike lock (24VDC) included
  • Strike lock can be used mechanically or electronically
